7 Marathons. 7 disciplines.
7 days. 7 charities.
7th April - 13th April 2025. The American Southwest.
We live to work.
A one-of-a-kind concept, blending multi-discipline fitness, endurance and adventure at scale.
Ski
Distance: 26.2 miles. Duration approx. 7hrs.
The first day has athletes acclimatizing to high-altitude conditions, sub-zero temperatures, and facing the inherent risks of high-speed skiing. What goes up, must come down—on repeat.
Road Bike
Distance: 100 miles. Duration approx. 8hrs.
Day two requires athletes to put in another grueling lower body effort. Aside from clocking in a century of mileage, they’ll also be tackling the demands of steep 14% climbs, endless stretches of road, and lower back fatigue.
Kayak
Distance: 26.2 miles. Duration approx. 10hrs.
The third day sees athletes going deep into the slot canyons and out into the wide expanses of Lake Powell. Propelled by only their upper body strength, they’ll need to endure burning shoulders, core and back. Not to mention the intense grip strain and paddle blisters.
Mountain Bike
Distance: 50 miles. Duration approx. 7hrs.
The athletes head off-road on day four as they navigate the relentless gravel trails of Glen Canyon. Unpredictable terrain leads them into some of the most remote parts of the country where they'll need to remain focused from start to finish.
Paddle Board
Distance: 26.2 miles. Duration approx. 11hrs.
Day Four heads back to the water to test stamina in the core and legs. This marathon will push the limits both mentally and physically as they hold their balance all day. Slip, and they’ll face freezing water temperatures.
Run
Distance: 26.2 miles. Duration approx. 5hrs
The athletes will run a full marathon skirting the edge of the Grand Canyon. Loaded up with their gear, this extreme challenge will test tired joints as they pound the ground, while the lungs scream as they acclimatize to the even higher altitude. Only, out there, no one will hear them.
Hike
Distance: 26.2 miles. Duration approx. 14hrs
The final leg is no doubt the biggest test. 6 days of fatigue coupled with a long mentally and physically draining hike into the wildness. The only thing in the way of the finish line? 26.2 miles of icy trials and a 12 mile climb to the summit.
Work Hard. Raise Hard.
WORK WEEK was founded on the belief that hard work is the catalyst for change. That's why we’re raising money for charitable causes which are close to the hearts of our athletes, and support the communities we train and compete in. So please give generously.
